New Shows: Lockdown (Part 1)
When lockdown started in March, we really wondered whether it would be a case of scheduling repeats until we could get back in the studio. But we are pleased to say that not only did our existing residents broadcast from their bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms, but a whole bunch of new shows actually kicked off during those months. It must have been a weird way to kick off a residency on ddr, and it sucked to not be able to welcome them in the usual ways, so we wanted to take the time to recap on all the fantastic new shows on ddr. and say fair play to everyone for keeping the station not only surviving but thriving throughout this whole shit show.
Here are the shows that kicked off near the start of lockdown - click the link to head to the resident’s page and stick the next show in your diary.
Arrival brings you an eclectic range of music whilst chatting you through what the artists behind the tracks are up to. The show talks through what’s going on in the live music world now that things have gone a lot more online. When live music returns this show will chat through all of that too.
